Salt Rock on 90mil Radio

Starting in April 2025, I begin a new show on 90mil radio. “Salt Rock” is an hour of music ranging from shoegaze, experimental, ambient, downtempo, and bass. The eclectic playlists are built around the art of finding solid ground in a maelstrom of global crises, inspired by the perpective given by geological time. The show platforms primarily FLINTA* artists, in the everlasting fight for representation in underground, independant music.

Launching this show harkens back to my time in college radio, 15 years ago. Back then, I was taken with the medium as a form of the commons, radio space being a channel in which you can share information, comfort, memory, and joy. As a life-long DJ, it feels very special to return to this format, sharing the sonic works that I love, alongside local events, random thoughts, etcetera.
